The algorithm is actually very simple: <pre class='brush: python'>[i for i, c in enumerate(t) if c == s] </pre> returns list of positions (indexes) of the string s. <pre class='brush: python'> + [None, None] </pre> is a protections if there is none or only one string s in the input string t, as we take the second element from the list. It is not very efficient, the only advantage is that it is one liner :-)
