I am so very bad at this type of problem.

Question related to mission Prime Palindrome Golf

After slowly chiseling away at my number of characters, I finally ended up with 1 point, and I'm stopping there. I did use range and zip, which I'd never used before, so I guess I probably did learn something, but dang, what an awful problem.
