Confusion in the left picture

Hi,

In the left picture,Pawn at 'c3' is unsafe from a 'black pawn' at 'b2'. Similarly pawns at positions 'b4','f4','g5' from black pawns at 'a3','g3','h4' respectively.

Please explain these cases.
