Config checkio_client won't accept Python API key - python coding challenges

Config checkio_client won't accept Python API key

I'm following the steps from Github to configure checkio_client on a Windows 10 box and I can't get the past the step of entering my API key. Every time I paste it in it just requests it again. Is this because I'm pasting it? Do I have to enter it manually?
