Please highlight inline code better

Can CheckiO please give inline-code a different foreground or background color or so? Currently inline-code is almost indistinguishable from normal text. Check out this comment. That looks like one large code expression, but it's actually two, separated by the normal text "or" in the middle. And this is just a particularly bad example. It's by far not the first time I found inline-code difficult to read because of the lack of real different formatting.
