New to Programming

Hello,

recently, I have stopped going to school ( I studied DAE = Digital Arts and Entertainment ), because of my low coding background I couldn't follow with the course. I had to drop out and now I am taking a gap year. A year I want to use to become a better coder so I have less trouble in the year after that when I go back to the school. I have decided to begin my coding in Python. I have set some goals, of course. In 3 months I want to have a basic understanding of Python, so that I can learn C++ after that, which will make it easier, It hink. Now, I have to prove that I actually WORKED for it to my parents. Is this site a good way to show them I know a bit of Python?
