• Solve strange circuit boards and enjoy mission language translations!

We’ve got some exciting news this week! But first, here are two new missions for you to try out:

  • What Does the Cow Say? – A new mission from Russian player, Cjkjvfnby! While based on an old utility from Unix cowsay, your challenge is to write the solution on Python.
  • Square Spiral - This is a reinvented version of the mission that deals with a strange circuit board. Start with a net where coordinates are in the shape of spiral and learn how to find the distance between any two elements on the map.

Now the big news! We’re super-hyped to reveal a new CheckiO feature. You can now translate any mission to your native language and share it with your fellow coders! Visit the Library Island to see how it’s been revamped with Russian translations, and then try it out for yourself with your native language.

Lastly, take note of the PyCon Russia 2014 conference! It’s taking place in Yekaterinburg on June 2-3. Based in a peaceful countryside venue, you’ll enjoy two days of tech talks, and workshops by experienced developers from all over the world. Join us for lots of fun!
