Difference between the Test setup and live Tests

In the testing window, I setup the examples to follow the save and test test cases, in this environment the results are successes every time, this is not so in the live environment, I may have missed something, but it even gives me a different first more from my code than it does in the test case, which is very strange. Did I really mess something up or is there some sort of discrepancy between the two.
