Code in Code Review doesn't seem to solve problem?

I've been looking through random reviews on "Long Repeat" and I found one that doesn't work on very simple cases in the problem as specified. I thought maybe I was missing something but it doesn't work locally either... Looking in the test strings that come up for my solution to the problem I find that there are none that would reject this particular program (just adding 'aaba' would do it).
