Good morning Code Commandos!

Today, we have a new mission for you. You must work with the robots to decode a secret message hidden inside a cipher. This isn’t just any old cipher, and it’s certainly not the cipher you made back on the Home Island, Oh ho no! This cipher is hidden within a crossword puzzle! Decode the secret message, hand it to Nikola and report back when you’ve finished! You can find it in the ultra secret Ice Base here.

For those of you who like to take life by the horns and push your skills to the limit, we have a few new videos on our Youtube Channel! In these videos you will learn about how powerful and user friendly the new CheckiO Mission Maker tools are! After watching these videos, you will be ready to challenge your friends to your own CheckiO Hackathon!

Let me break it down for you. Here in the first video, you will see just how easy it is to get your new mission set up in a Git repo and on our servers.

In the second video, you get to learn how to easily debug a local copy of your mission so you don’t spend ages committing each and every change.
