Join our CheckiO video competition and view this week’s new missions!

We’re holding a competition to pick the best soundtrack for our CheckiO video! Go to the forum post to watch the video and then post a link here to a YouTube song you think should accompany it (the “funner,” the better). Then upvote/downvote other entries over the next week—winner gets a prize!

Here are this week’s new missions:

• Simple Areas – Write various functions to find the areas of simple figures, such as triangles, rectangles, and circles.
• Word Pattern – Teach Sophia’s “drones” to understand letter-numeric words by uploading binary templates.

Also, check out this great review of CheckiO by Matthias Wiesman, who states, “I have already learnt a few python tricks I did not know.”

Lastly, Taiwan’s PyCon 2014 is May 17-18. CheckiO will be there and we’ve got a great surprise for anyone who visits us!
