I like this part: <pre class='brush: python'>d, m, y = map(int, day.split('.')) </pre> On the othe hand, I did not know the behaviour fo modulus with negative numbers. Thanx!

I will never understand how you figured out the (4-date.weekday()) % 7 math would work. That's my biggest programming stumbling block is the math! This is really cool. Great work!
