Nice! And thanks for sum(i%7>4 ....) I have to improve my solution: checkio=lambda a,b: sum(i%7>4 for i in range(a.weekday(),(b-a).days+a.weekday()+1))

Thanks. :-) Shortness is objective, but readability is very subjective. I consider almost all my codes here readable. So I'm happy when I see someone else recognize it sometimes. :-]
