for people wanting explanations. I did some research and i think this is it: <pre class='brush: python'>return f"{h % 12 + 12 * ('p' in time):02d}:{m:02d}" </pre> h%12 determines what will be the converted value in 24 format. <ul> <li>if h < 12 -- return h (so 5 % 12 = 5, 7 % 12 = 5)</li> <li>if h = 12 -- return 0</li> <li>if h > 12 -- return h-12 ()</li> </ul> (12x('p' in time)) used to specify if 0 or 12 is added (am or pm) * -- if p not in time -- return 0 -- so 120 =0 * -- if p in time -- return 1 -- so 121 =12 :02d <ul> <li>-- format for having an integer of 2 digits (aka:adding the zero in front--to convert 9: to 09:)</li> </ul>
