Wow, what a cheat! :-D Of course it doesn't always work, but still very nice. Instead of (second) str, you can use id. It is false in rarer occasions. ;-]

Already published <a href="http://www.checkio.org/mission/solution-for-anything/publications/DiZ/python-3/shortest/">here</a>! Too bad CheckiO doesn't give links to other solutions anymore :( Btw solution above fails if you compare checkio() to empty string, isn't it?

...or anything that stringifies to empty string. But there are not many such things, although they can be made (easier than things with id 0:).
