You need to comment out the original "def mult_two(a, b):" and the code in the function.

Why making it complex when you can use result = a*b and return the result. Is there any benefit of coding this way.

It does not seem to me a "clear" solution. Creative? Effective? Certainly. Just not a clear one, especially for beginners, and it is on the Elementary island.

For my students, it is not an Elementary Solution. It makes them more confused. They are beginning and were writing things like: num1 = int(input("Enter Number 1: )) num2 = int(input("Enter Number 2: )) print (num1*num2) But they weren't allowed to move on and it kept saying it wouldn't work, but it would work in any other python consol.

The same multiplication operator can be called with integer class as: int.mul(a, b) This method also does the job, without having to call for any import statement

Your code does not compile. You have to delete function as well. Maybe your solution is great but it does not follow specification. The only thing that should be changed in the template is the line with comment.

Great! Module operator... The first reason why you might want to use the module 'operator' in your code is if you need to pass an operator to a function: def apply(op, x, y): return op(x, y)

I think it could be good if you explain your code in simple language: the operator is a built-in library (I think) and this line code just linked the "mult_two" function into the "mul" function of that.

The operator is module. From operator imported mul. multtwo is alise of mul means instance of mul we using multtwo.
