It's easy to think use text.count(letter) to replace from line 7 to line 9

I think it is a rather clear solution, suited for beginner programmers. Anyone who likes this solution, should next study: * the list type and the member function count * the string module (in particular string.asciilowercase) * the _max function, and the parameter key one can pass to it A final remark on styling: in the elif statement, the actual question you ask yourself in plain English, is 'is the new count bigger than the previous maximum?'. I'd suggest to write the code in that same order, meaning: <pre class='brush: python'>elif times > most_times: </pre> Also, Python does not require brackets. As a matter of fact, in Python you should not write the brackets (this is true for all flow controls: if, elif, else, for, while)
