the re module can be tricky sometimes. I sometimes have trouble making a re.compile also... usually if I try to figure out what I did wrong, I'll find it, and it's helped me get better at it. My main point is... it can definitely be a little hard to get the hang of. Keep at it!

Nice solution! However the password length being < 65 was a precondition.

Great! I just would put the len(data) test first since it is faster to test than re.search.

Very clever to use the positive lookahead. Never was really aware of this, goos to know! Yet, the regex does not need to match the whole data, the search function does an instr match and every lookahead consumes the string as a whole until it matches the first character class. So, shouldn't <pre class='brush: python'>r'(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z])(?=.*\d)' </pre> be enough?

Great! To make it more "Clear, Readable, Documented and Educational" I would recommend adding comments about the features beginners don't know (the `(?=...)` thing).

Great application of the fact that lookahead assertions do not consume any of the string. I read that in the docs, but had almost no imagination of what this could be useful for. Thank you for these insights!
