Very clear :) I just found out recently in youtube that you can initialize, instead of x=0 and y=0, doing like this: x = y = 0. Maybe you knew that. Just for in case ;)

Just try to meditate about: <ul> <li>you will increase x each time you meet 'r', total is instructions.count('r')</li> <li>you will decrease x each time you meet 'l', total is instructions.count('l')</li> </ul> So: <pre class='brush: python'>x = instructions.count('r') - instructions.count('l') </pre> Or you can use int + bool: <pre class='brush: python'>x, y = 0, 0 for i in instructions: y += (i == 'f') - (i == 'b') x += (i == 'r') - (i == 'l') return (x, y) </pre>
