OK, here's the story of this solution and why it ended up being "uncategorized", superseded by <a href="http://www.checkio.org/mission/flatten-list/publications/nickie/python-3/functional-generator/">my other functional solution</a>. My <a href="http://www.checkio.org/mission/all-in-row/publications/nickie/python-3/first/">solution</a> to the <a href="http://www.checkio.org/mission/all-in-row/">original task</a> was already small enough to fit in 140 characters, after some renaming. But, for a moment, I thought it would be nicer if I merged the two functions that I had there (flatten and checkio) into one (flat_list here). The truth is that yes, it works, only this had an ugly side-effect. The result of flat_list is now a list, whereas the result of flatten in my original solution was a generator (created by chain). This means that too many lists must be built and chained together to form the final result, in this solution. On the other hand, in the original solution, it was generators that were chained (lazy things, compared to lists).
