Another simple oneliner solution in Clear category for Create Intervals by StefanPochmann

    return list(zip(sorted(x for x in data if x-1 not in data),
                    sorted(x for x in data if x+1 not in data)))

Zip the interval starts with the interval ends. Similar to <a href="https://py.checkio.org/mission/create-intervals/publications/StefanPochmann/python-3/simple-oneliner/">my previous solution</a>, so I could've seen this myself, but really just a corrected and improved version of <a href="https://py.checkio.org/mission/create-intervals/publications/Lemmi/python-3/left-separately-right-separately/">Lemmi's solution</a>.

Oh well, at least my original one has the underlying O(n) complexity, so if the problem didn't for some reason want the output ordered (originally it btw didn't), it would be faster. Lemmi's and this one, on the other hand, really do need sorting (and forgetting this is Lemmi's mistake).

Though since @Lemmi's solution was posted after mine and a significant part looked suspiciously like in mine and their new fixed solution now does `list(zip(...))` like I did above instead of their old strange `[(x, y) for x, y in zip(...)]` without saying anything, I wouldn't be surprised if they actually got ideas from me. Not saying they did, but wouldn't be the first time I've seen plagiarism on these sites. Oh well... I should just not post anything anymore, then I wouldn't have these suspicions, problem solved :-)

Why so serious, even tragic?) Yes, I guess the idea to return directly zip result was likely "captured" from this solution. But: 1) when I saw it, it was random for me (without author) so I just "liked" it with +3 (you can see). But I can mention it in my solution now, no problem! 2) I consider this problem as "my strange error", not as "a better way to do the same thing". So in my next solutions I tried to get rid of this problem.

Shortening it by removing code duplication (but I'm afraid it makes it a little less clear): <pre class='brush: python'>def create_intervals(data): return list(zip(*(sorted(x for x in data if x+d not in data) for d in (-1, 1)))) </pre> And golfed: <pre class='brush: python'>create_intervals=lambda X:list(zip(*(sorted(x for x in X if x+d not in X)for d in(-1,1)))) </pre>

I liked Lemmi's and I like this one too! Very short and to the point, but even a beginner like me can follow the logic!!
