As mine may be a logical rotation, then yours is a logical shift :-) I admit, the use of a "carry" is not necessary here as you can make both lists to compare one item shorter then the original one. (As I considered too, when comparing all items to the relative next item from the same list, that there is no use to compare the last item to the first again as by then, if al others are the same it's already known those must be equal too. Also something to keep in mind when solving this kind of problem by the use of other methods.) Anyway, a very direct solution indeed but I can not give you any patent for this one since <a href="https://py.checkio.org/mission/all-the-same/publications/tom-tom/python-3/fifth/">tom-tom has gone you before</a>.
